Rules & Regulations
- We organize quarterly collections for photographers of all levels, from amateurs to seasoned professionals.
- All submitted photographs must depict subjects related to weddings and the celebration of love, including but not limited to: the wedding ceremony and reception, pre-wedding events (e.g., engagement shoots, bridal portraits), post-wedding celebrations, and images of wedding guests.
- All submitted photos must have a minimum resolution of 1400 pixels on the shorter side. Photos that do not meet this minimum resolution requirement will be automatically disqualified.
- We welcome submissions across all styles of wedding photography, including portraits, candid shots, details, and creative interpretations.
- Submitted photographs must maintain the integrity of the original scene. Basic image adjustments (such as cropping, color correction, and sharpening) are permitted, but digital manipulation that materially alters the content of the image (excluding multi-exposures) is prohibited.
- To ensure the authenticity of submissions, we may request the RAW files of submitted images for review.
- Photographs with watermarks, frames, borders, or any kind of logos will not be accepted.
- Photographers are responsible for obtaining necessary releases from all recognizable individuals featured in their submitted wedding photographs, including the couple, wedding party members, and any other identifiable guests. Submissions without appropriate releases may be disqualified.
- Photographers retain copyright to their images but grant Global Photo Guild (Demand Oriented Solutions) a non-exclusive license to use the submitted wedding photos for promotional purposes related to the competition and its collections (e.g., website, social media, marketing materials, showcasing winning images to potential clients). Proper credit will be given to the photographer.
- Copyright and Ownership: By submitting photographs to this competition, participants affirm that they are the sole author and copyright owner of all submitted work. Participants are solely responsible for ensuring that they own all necessary reproduction rights for their photographs. Photographs that do not comply with these ownership and copyright requirements will be ineligible and disqualified from the competition. In the event that a disqualification occurs after a prize has been awarded, the prize must be returned or refunded by the participant. Participants agree to fully indemnify Global Photo Guild and its team from any and all claims, royalties, fees, or other liabilities arising from any copyright infringement or breach of these rules by the participant.
- Each photographer must create and use their own individual account. Studio accounts or shared accounts are not permitted. If multiple photographers work within a studio, each must create their own separate account.
- Top 10 Photographers of the Year are required to submit their identification for nationality verification and id proof before the winners are announced.
