About Photographer
I'm Sam, a documentary wedding photographer and filmmaker based in Yorkshire. I come from a background in acting and music, which feeds into how I shoot — with rhythm, empathy, and a strong sense of narrative. My focus is always on real moments over posed ones. Movement. Emotion. Context. The stuff that actually matters. I shoot hybrid — delivering both stills and short highlight films — and I teach other photographers how to do the same. My approach is calm, intentional, and built around trust. I'm always up for sharing what’s worked (and what hasn’t), and I believe community over competition is how we all get better.
