Captured on the steps of the church, this image freezes the very second the newlyweds step into their new journey together. The groom, standing tall and proud, embraces the celebratory shower of rice, while the bride, with a playful smile, shields herself with her bouquet. Guests erupt in joy, laughter fills the air, and in the background, a little girl watches in quiet awe, absorbing the magic of the moment. It’s a scene that speaks of love, tradition, and the beautiful chaos of weddings—exactly what makes them unforgettable.

Taken at a local wedding venue to me, Blackwell Grange. I love how the bride and her friends are all around the girl in the middle, who's just having the best time!

Cley Windmill, Norfolk UK. We went for a walk to give these two handsome men time to take it all in and celebrate their love together. I have never had a couple who laugh so much and enjoy life together. These two hold a very special place in my heart

I have been following this girl with the lollipop all day, she is the daughter of the bride and is quite a funny character. At one point she got this lollipop, she was so happy with it. I just finished photographing the groom opening the bottle of champagne. I saw the empty glasses so I knew they were going to pour the champagne and I thought it would be nice to see the cake on the other side while they were pouring the champagne. Suddenly this girl came into my frame with her arm resting on the table and enjoying her lollipop to the maximum. I was already close so I only had to move my camera a little bit to the right to capture it. (2019 - Castle Heeswijk, Netherlands)

I LOVE this moment from the lovely 'Fleece Inn" in Ripponden – there's such a tongue-in-cheek feeling to it. The “Happily Ever After” backdrop is clearly there for romantic portraits, but when I spotted this older couple in front of it, I couldn’t resist. They looked like they’d possibly together a long time and were maybe a bit tired from a long wedding day. I quickly crouched down and they both looked straight into my lens with an expression that felt like they were questioning everything. A perfectly timed bit of wedding irony!
